Essential requirements

All theses with publications must have the following:

  • Title page
  • Abstract
  • Declaration
  • Preface – noting collaborations, and contributions to authorship
  • Acknowledgements
  • Table of contents
  • List of tables, figures & illustrations
  • Main text/chapters
  • Bibliography or list of references
  • Appendices
