How to cancel a form in eStudent

This document shows you how to cancel forms that you have submitted by mistake and need to withdraw; or if you have a list of started forms that you do not intend to submit for approval (because you have submitted another form, or no longer require to request a change, etc)

1. If you have forms that you submitted by mistake and wish to withdraw/cancel:

Contact your local graduate research administrator with the form ID and form name (ie Request Change of Study Rate #12345), telling them that the form was submitted by mistake and should be rejected.

1. If you have a list of forms already started or opened that you do not intend to submit for approval (because you have submitted another form, or no longer require to request a change, etc)

a. Log into eStudent

b. Click on Graduate Research tab on top of page

c. Click on Graduate Research Forms Portal in the left hand column

d. Click on Responses tab on top of page

e. Open the student form with label Yet to be submitted

f. Click on View button on top right of the form you want to cancel

g. Once you are inside the form, click on the Edit button in the top right-hand corner

h. Locate and tick the Cancel Form tick box near the top of page 1 of the form

i. Click Save button in the top right corner

j. Go to page 3 of the form and click on the Submit for Processing button in the top left hand corner

k. The status of the form record has now been updated to Cancelled
