Don't get caught out by copyright! It's never too early to think about copyright matters, especially relating to the thesis. In this workshop we will talk about what copyright is, how long it lasts, and the kinds of materials it protects. You will learn how to use copyright material compliantly in the thesis, and the steps to take when permission is required. We will also talk about the rights that copyright legislation gives you, measures you can take to protect your original work, and requirements for final thesis submission. This session is relevant to graduate researchers and their supervisors.
