Crafting the Writing

Presented by Academic Skills, this UpSkills workshop is intended for graduate research (M.Phil & PhD) students in the middle stages of their candidature. It focuses on the writing skills required for clear and effective communication of your research. We will explore ways of establishing a productive writing routine and developing clear written expression. We will also discuss strategies for creating a logical structure and work on cohesion devices at the sentence, paragraph, section and chapter level. Students should attend with a draft of any chapter for peer review.
