Presented by Academic Skills, this UpSkills workshop is intended for students in the early stages of their M.Phil or PhD candidature. In this session, we will investigate the research and writing skills required for your thesis. The first part of the session will focus on techniques for critical reading and note-taking followed by strategies for navigating the world of academic literature. The second half will focus on writing. We will explore specific techniques for writing a clear and critical review of literature through the use of examples and practice activities.
