Leadership skills are broadly recognised as one of the most important criteria for employment across all industries. Graduate researchers bring unique and transferable expertise as research leaders that potentially place them in an advantageous position in today’s competitive job market. In this seminar you will hear from senior leaders from inside and outside the University, who will provide advice on how to enhance your leadership skills in a range of different contexts, during graduate research candidature and beyond. It will be facilitated by senior leaders in business, academia and the public sector who will offer insights into how their research training has informed their leadership experiences. This seminar is relevant to graduate researchers at all stages of candidature.
