Early-Career Researchers Engagement Webinar

Engagement is a nebulous yet important outcome increasingly required by Universities and funders.

This talk will cover:

(i) the strategic usefulness and moral imperatives of engagement

(ii) different types of engagement, and;

(iii) examples of successful and unsuccessful engagements undertaken on a shoestring ECR budget.

Dr Scott Griffiths is an EL2 in the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences. For years, he has tried hard to engage with the public, charities, industry, and the media. In turn, these engagements have formed critical pillars of his research program and grant proposals, with some significant successes.
