Intro to Rhino3D Workshops

Design and printing of 3D spaces and objects. Put simply 3D Data is object-based data, it is a mathematical representation of something three-dimensional. In many workflows a Computer-aided design (CAD) program will be required, and of the selection of CAD programs that are available Rhino3D is in the centre of an ecology of tools that will help you with your 3D data.

As an industry standard Rhino3D has been a staple of engineering and design for decades, and more recently emerging technologies such as 3D printing and 3D scanning have begun to revolutionise the way we record and manufacture spaces and objects.

At the University of Melbourne there are many resources available for researchers who wish to employ rapid prototyping, 3D design and Artefact Digitisation. Join us to learn how with an introduction to Rhino 3D.
