TES Statuses

The TES statuses listed are those that graduate research students can view when logged in to TES.

Intention to Submit

The Graduate Research Examinations office has received your 80-word summary and estimated thesis submission date. Your supervisor has been sent a request to nominate examiners.

Thesis submitted

Your thesis submission has been received by the Examinations Office. It will usually take three working days for your thesis submission to be processed and for you to receive your congratulatory email.
Submission IncompleteThere was missing or incorrect information or documentation in your thesis submission. The Examinations Office has sent you an email with a request to provide the missing materials.
Request to Submit Dept SectionYour thesis submission has been processed and a request has been sent to your supervisor to review the thesis and the information you provided.
Supervisor Completed Proceed to CoEYour supervisor has answered the questions and reviewed your thesis. Now your Chair of Examiners has been asked to review the information provided by you and your supervisor and to approve the thesis for examination.
CoE Approved Proceed to ExaminationThe Chair of Examiners has confirmed that your thesis is ready for examination. Once examiners have been nominated and approved, the Examinations Office will arrange for your thesis to be sent.
Under ExaminationYour thesis has been sent to examiner/s. This status will be visible for the majority of your examination process. The Examinations Office and Chair of Examiners communicate with examiners throughout this time. However, due to the confidential nature of thesis examinations, you will not be provided with specific information regarding the progress of your examination.
Not Ready for Final Thesis DepositThis status will be displayed next to your thesis title in the 'Deposit My Final Thesis' page on TES throughout the examination process. The status will update once an examination outcome is determined and you are notified via email to complete and deposit your final thesis.
Final Thesis RequestedAn outcome for your examination has been determined and reviewed by your Chair of Examiners. You have been sent an email from the Examinations Office which includes information and instructions to retrieve your examiners' reports and a due date for submitting your final thesis.
Updated Final Thesis RequestedThe Chair of Examiners has not approved the uploaded thesis as the final version. The Examinations Office has sent you an email detailing the reason and requesting the thesis be re-uploaded to TES.
Final Thesis DepositedYou have successfully uploaded your final thesis file. A request has been sent to your Chair of Examiners to check the uploaded file and provide final confirmation that you have fulfilled the requirements of your degree through TES.
Thesis Received by MinervaYour Chair of Examiners has approved the Completion of Degree form through TES, and the final thesis has now been placed in the University's digital repository, Minerva Access. The URL for accessing your thesis online has been emailed to you.

If a 50-word citation was not previously provided by your supervisor, a reminder has been sent to submit one to TES. Once this is received and approved, the Examinations Office will notify you of your successful completion via email.
CompletedAll completion requirements have been met and you are now eligible to graduate. The Examinations Office has sent you an email notifying you of your successful completion with graduation information.
