Documentaries and Exhibitions

Room G01, ground floor, Elisabeth Murdoch Building (bldg 134)

  • For all graduate researchers and staff

Bringing your work to life from the ink on the page to the moving pictures of the documentary film or the three-dimensional objects in a museum exhibition can be hugely exciting for an academic researcher. Once written off as all but dead, the digital world has breathed new life into the world of documentaries and, while a relatively rare opportunity, an exhibition in a major public institution can see aspects of your research being communicated to vast numbers of people.

This workshop will prepare you for converting aspects of your research into visually-based, short non-fiction for the small (and often very small) screen and working collaboratively to turn a day at the thesis into a night at the museum.
